How this site handles your data

Who is responsible
S7 Labs Ltd, company number 17073823, registered in England and Wales at 31 Mount Pleasant Drive, East Harling, Norwich, NR16 2GB, is the data controller for the personal data described here. The company is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZC108740. You can reach me at contact@s7labs.co.uk.
What this site collects
This website has no sign-up, no comments and no advertising, and it sets no tracking cookies.
It uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure loading performance. These do not use cookies and do not build a profile of you; they record aggregated information such as the page visited, the referring site, the country, and the type of device and browser.
As with any website, the hosting provider processes your IP address in order to serve the page to you and to keep the service secure.
If you email me
When you get in touch, I process whatever you send — typically your name, email address, organisation and a description of what you need — in order to reply and to assess whether I can help. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to an enquiry you chose to send.
If we go on to work together, your details are processed to perform the contract and to meet my legal obligations, including tax and accounting records.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to an engagement are kept for seven years after the end of the relevant financial year, as UK tax law requires. Analytics data is retained in aggregate only, under Vercel's own retention periods.
Who else sees it
I do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. It is handled by the service providers that run this business — website hosting and analytics, email, and accounting software — each acting on my instructions. Data is not transferred outside the UK without appropriate safeguards in place.
Client data
Where I build or maintain a system for a client, that client is the controller for the personal data inside it and I act as their processor, under written terms that meet the requirements of Article 28 UK GDPR. If you believe your data is held in a client's system, contact that organisation; I cannot act on it without their instruction.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to ask for it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email contact@s7labs.co.uk and I will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though I would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
